How to optimise your availability for more bookings

Your availability plays a key role in how many bookings you receive through Revide. A few small adjustments can significantly increase the number of brides who book with your store.

Make sure your availability is up to date

Revide pulls your availability directly from your booking system. To avoid missed opportunities, keep your calendar updated, remove unavailable dates or times, and add new availability regularly. Brides are far more likely to book when they see clear, accurate options.

Offer a range of appointment times

The more flexible your availability, the more bookings you’re likely to receive. Consider including weekday appointments, evenings where possible, and weekend availability. Different brides have different schedules — flexibility helps you capture more of them.

Avoid being fully booked too far ahead

If your calendar shows no availability for several weeks, brides may choose another store. Where possible, release availability in advance, ensure some near-term appointments are visible, and keep a steady flow of open slots.

Keep appointment types simple

Clear and simple appointment options help brides book faster. For example: “Bridal Appointment”, “First Appointment”, or “Follow-Up Appointment”. Avoid overly complex or unclear naming.

Review your peak times

Look at when your appointments are most popular. You may find certain days or times fill quickly, while others are underused. Adjust your availability to match demand where possible.

What brides are looking for

From a bride’s perspective, they want easy-to-understand options, availability within the next few weeks, and a simple booking process. The easier you make it, the more likely they are to book.
