How do appointment requests work?

Appointment requests allow brides to enquire about appointments with your store, even if you haven't yet completed your booking setup.

This means you can start benefiting from Revide immediately without needing to set up your Appointment Types, Store Availability or connect a booking provider straight away.

Step 1: A bride requests an appointment

When a bride finds your store on Revide, she can request a preferred appointment date and time.

At this stage, nothing is automatically booked or confirmed.

Step 2: You receive an email notification

You'll receive an email letting you know that a new appointment request has been received.

The request will also appear in your Messages area inside Revide.

Step 3: Review the request

Inside Messages, you'll be able to:

  • View the bride's details.
  • Read any notes they've provided.
  • Continue the conversation.
  • Convert the request into a booking.

Step 4: Confirm the booking

Bookings can only be confirmed by Native stores.

To become a Native store, you'll need to either:

Use Revide's booking system

Set up:

  • At least one Appointment Type.
  • Your Store Availability.

Or connect your existing booking provider

Currently, Revide supports:

  • Acuity Scheduling

Once connected, Revide can use your existing availability and appointment settings.

Don't worry.

Many stores receive appointment requests before they've completed their setup. This allows you to begin engaging with brides straight away while getting everything ready behind the scenes.
