I have received an appointment request on email – what do I do now?

Receiving an appointment request means a bride has discovered your store on Revide and would like to book an appointment with you.

At this stage, the request is not yet a confirmed booking. The email is simply notifying you that a bride has requested a particular date and time.

Step 1: Log in to Revide

Click the "Log in to respond" button in the email, or log in directly to your Revide account.

You'll find the request inside your Messages area.

Step 2: Convert the request into a booking

Inside the conversation, you'll see a "Convert into a booking" button.

Selecting this will guide you through the process of confirming the appointment.

Why can't I confirm the booking yet?

Bookings can only be confirmed by Native stores.

This ensures brides always see accurate availability and helps prevent double bookings.

What does "Native" mean?

A Native store can accept and manage bookings directly through Revide.

There are two ways to become Native:

Option 1 – Use Revide's booking system

To do this, you'll need to set up:

  • At least one Appointment Type.
  • Your Store Availability.

Option 2 – Connect your existing booking provider

Currently, Revide supports:

  • Acuity Scheduling

Once connected, Revide will use your existing availability and appointment settings.

Haven't finished setting up your store yet?

Don't worry.

Many stores begin receiving appointment requests before they've completed their setup. This allows you to start benefiting from Revide immediately while getting everything ready behind the scenes.

If you haven't already, we recommend reading:

How to set up your store on Revide

This guide will walk you through:

  • completing your store profile
  • creating appointment types
  • setting your Store Availability
  • becoming a Native store
  • connecting Acuity Scheduling

Once your setup is complete, you'll be able to confirm bookings directly through Revide.

Do I need to complete this straight away?

No.

You can continue receiving appointment requests while you finish your setup at your own pace.

Receiving requests is actually a great sign — it means brides are already discovering your store on Revide.
